L’AMOUR IN MEDORA: A BISTRO LOVE STORY

In 1882, the Marquis de Morès married Medora von Hoffman in Cannes, France. A year later, he founded a town in the rugged Dakota Badlands and named it Medora, honoring the woman he loved.

Their story brought a touch of French elegance and romance to the frontier—and that spirit lives on at L’Amour Bistro.

In French, L’Amour means “love,” making it the perfect name for a place inspired by their story. We blend French charm with the adventurous spirit of Medora to create a warm, welcoming space where guests can relax, enjoy good food and drinks, gather with friends, and make memories of their own.

Come for the food, stay for the atmosphere, and feel a little L’Amour. Santé!
